Members - Industrial Water Pollution
All the advancement and development witnessed in the last few centuries in industrial growth have also brought with them a wide spectrum of problems, water pollution being one of them. As per the CPCB estimates, about 501 MLD of industrial wastewater after treatment is being discharged into river Ganga from 764 Grossly Polluting Industries (GPIs). The main industrial sectors responsible for pollution in Ganga are: Sugar, Distillery, Pulp Paper, Tannery, and Textiles. This group is to share experiences, information, use cases, and ideas about how best we can improve discharges from these industries.
