Nothing is impossible in this world, even the cleaning Ganga. But present approach is bureaucratic and routine. If the Ganga has to be clean, then adequate minimum fair weather flow has to be maintained in Ganga river and its tributaries in every reach and any point of time. For this water utilization in agriculture sector in Ganga basin, has to be drastically reduced. Second is to control population growth in the Ganga basin, which is increasing all the problems exponentially in the Ganga basin.
