Sewage in Ganga is the future of energy
Published on by Ajay Girotra in Technology
Approx 13260 MLD of sewage ( source : NMCG website ) falls into Ganga river everyday. What is considered as waste is the future of energy for the entire country. This is not waste..... but potential source of energy which can replace the fossil fuels. This quantity of sewage, which we call as pollution threat can produce 78% of India's power requirement i.e. around 1,35,000 MW of power every day and India's 100% requirement of Diesel, Kerosene, CNG and aviation fuel per day ( approx. 60 crore liters). Apart from this...it can also give us..medical grade approved drinking water - 1200 crore liters everyday.
These may sound magical figures but in reality...it is possible. With our proprietary technology, we can convert the entire waste into energy with zero emissions and zero residues. This is the perspective we want people to see and expect the government to give us a chance to implement our technology and prove what we are claiming. Our firm belief is :
" the most powerful substance on the planet ......is water"
