Government releases Rs 315 crore for building toilets along Ganga. The Union Water Resources Ministry has released Rs 315 crore for construction of toilets along Ganga river.  The Ministry released the money to Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation for building toilets as per an action plan under Swachh Bharat campaign (Gramin) during 2016-17.  The Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation Ministry had released Rs 263 crore for the purpose during the previous fiscal, an official statement said.  Read more at: Economic Times

  1. Now the sewage system technology is available in the world wherein the BoD could be achieved as per the operating standards. I have used eco-line sewage system from Holland in my project and it is serving very well. Lot of technological inputs are required to incorporate along with toilets being constructed all along the course of Ganga river.
