About

I am a senior Civil Engineer/Manager with over 43 years of extensive experience providing professional technical and management support to a broad range of markets, including Environmental, Public Health, Government, Power and Infrastructural clients all over the globe and currently, as a Senior Consultant and Team Leader at AECOM. I am an Indian, located in Gurgaon (NCR), India. 

I worked on management and implementation of development projects, practicality and sustainability in development projects thru. flexible resource management, active participation of all stakeholders, and a shared goal of strengthening institutions and operational systems, to optimize the use of available resources. I worked in multiple roles starting from an Engineer in the State Government to leadership roles, multi-disciplinary team of experts within various organization and stakeholders including as staff of the Royal Netherlands Embassy (International Bilateral and Multilateral Development programs); the Danish Refugee Council in Afghanistan, the JICA and EU in Bangladesh, Indo-African Team-9 program in Africa, and lately as Advisor for SAARC Countries Development Fund for Infrastructure development projects in (water, Sewerage and Drainage, Roads and Buildings etc...), apart from collaborations with national-international consultancy groups, national- international NGOs, corporate and governmental systems.

My professional associations include;

WASH Specialist and Member National Jal Jeevan Mission, Ministry of Jal Shakti, Govt. of India;

Founding Member Global Water Partnership (GWP Netherlands);

Member Steering Committee Gender Water Alliance (GWA Netherlands); and

Founding member of an Institutional Development program (WASMO, Gujarat) for the Rural Water and Sanitation Sector in India.
