Julio has more than 9 years of geoscience and geology experience in field operations support and supervision with responsibilities that cover on mine dewatering, wells drilling & completion supervision, and field hydrogeology. Key areas of specialization include mining hydrogeology and field geology; production and exploration water wells supervision and technical control; down-hole geophysical logging; GIS and data management; operations, contractor management and well site geology. Prior to coming to Schlumberger, he received his degree in Geological Engineering from Universidad Autónoma Del Estado de Hidalgo (in Mexico) and spent three years working with the Mexican government at the national geological survey and water administration. Julio joined Schlumberger Water Services in 2010 and has been gaining his hydrogeology and consulting expertise in both mining and industrial applications, working through Mexico and the United States since then. He then joined WSP-Parsons Brinckerhoff as Project Hydrogeologist, as part of the acquisition of Schlumberger Water Services made by them. Currently working as Mine Hydrogeologist for Goldcorp Inc.
