About

I have over seventeen years of experience working in various sectors of the Agriculture and international development arena in Private and Public, both in the India and abroad. Currently serving as Project Director ATMA at Sustainable agriculture development agency within Department of agriculture Govt. of Punjab where i have overall responsibility for implementation of  extension reforms  initiatives and other programs like Pardhan mantri krishi sinchai yogna PMKSY of Govt. of India in agriculture sector. I am closely working with agriculture,allied departments of  state Government and agricultural university and institutions for research and development.

Previously served as  Senior Consultant and Business Development Manager with Maxgrow & Organoworld, Astt.Manager with Reliance Retail ,Placemnent officer with Lovely professional university. i had visited several countries to gain different perspectives and learn from different cultures. I have been instrumental in organizing project to study organised retail setup of big retailers in US ,Canada and UK  for agri produce.

I have almost 20 years of experience working in various roles within nonprofits, domestically and internationally focusing on international agriculture development, poverty alleviation & food security, community development,Environment,education and health.  

I have started my volunteer career with  Rotary International as youth  Rotaract  in 1996 and represented as President, Chairman, Director, Secretary and DRR in 2004 with wide horizons –wide vision, wide relationship, wide thinking as his theme of the year that shows his vision  and  travelled to many countries of the world to take project dose of  hope to international spheres to combat HIV/AIDS awareness .I represented Rotary south Asia and attended international Convention in USA Received many awards during my  working tenure in Rotaract from Rotary  International and other organsiations. Rotary youth leadership awards and has been awarded as outstanding services as DRR  award by Rotary international President in 2005.

I hold M.Sc in Agriculture with specialization in Agri. economics and agronomy from Guru Nanak dev university India and PG in Business administration from Symbiosis Pune and PG in agri. extension management from MANAGE  Hyderabad.

I have six  research publications related to water and ,farm income and farm diversification with reputed journals  to my credit and wrote many articles related to agri marketing and agriculture extension in leading national  and international chronicle .Television and Radio networks frequently broadcast many of my interviews.
