Dr. M Ramachandra Mohan is a Professor since 2000 and Centenary Chairman, Department of Zoology and Applied Genetics in Bangalore University and President Indian Society for Comparative Animal physiology, Trained on Numerical Modeling of Lakes and Reservoirs in Hydro biological Institute, Kusatsu, Japan in the year 2001 Also during 1997 obtained UNEP Training course on Integrated Management of Reservoir Water Quality, Cesky Budejovice, in Czech Republic, 1997. Presently Working as IUCN Member which provides human progress, economic development and nature conservation in the areas of Education and Communication, Higher Education, Knowledge Management and Capacity Development, Media and Communications, Social and Behavior and Social  Policy, Working Group People in Nature, CEESP Asia. Species Survival Commissions Freshwater Fish Specialist Group.  World Commission on Protected Areas Climate Change Network. Freshwater Network, Indigenous People and Protected Areas  Specialist   Group, Science and Management Network and South Asia Region and Commission on Ecosystems Management South Asia, Sustainable Use and Management of Ecosystems, Wetland Ecosystems for the period of 2017 to 2020 .
