Safari is a skilled expert on Standardization, International Business and Quality Infrastructure in Support of International Trade with strong knowledge in Project Management, Monitoring and Evaluation . He has worked in the sector for more than eight (8) years at national, regional and international level to the position of secretary of Regional (EAC & ARSO) and National Technical Committee on Standardization.

He has sound expertise in business policy, strategic management, and research undertaking just to mention a few. He has extensive experience in working with diverse range of stakeholders both in public and private sector thus he has served to ISOlution User Group for the ISO Central Secretariat in Geneva (2012-2013) and currently he serves as a Board Member to Editorial Board at Tanzania Bureau of Standards (TBS), since July 2013.
