About
Dr. Salman worked as the World Bank Water Law Adviser from 1994 until his retirement in 2009. He is currently Editor-in-Chief of International Water Law journal, published quarterly by Brill. He is also a Fellow with the International Water Resources Association (IWRA).
Dr. Salman authored/ co-authored or edited/ co-edited fourteen books on water law, and has published more than sixty article and book chapters on the topic, and more than one hundred newspapers articles.
Dr. Salman obtained his LLB from the University of Khartoum in the Sudan, and holds an LLM and JSD from Yale School in New Haven, Connecticut in the USA.
