About

Sungil JEON received his PhD in Chemical Engineering from Chungnam National University in Korea and post-doctorate training in Chemical & Biological Engineering from Advanced Membranes & Porous Materials Center at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology in Saudi Arabia. JEON became a assistant Professor in 2015 and he assumed the membrane preparation and evaluation group leader in Membrane and Film Technology Center from 2016.

His current research interests are mainly focused on the development of High performance PVDF hollow fiber membranes via TIPS process for water purification as well as NIPS process. Furthermore, He has a strong background in inorganic membrane for gas purification and separation from IGCC plant or thermal power plant. He published over 20 peer-reviewed scientific papers, 30 conference proceedings, obtained 4 issued patents.
