My appointment is 70% research, 30% teaching. Teach “Nanotechnology Applicaiton in Agriculture, Food and Environment” for graduate/undergraduate students and “Soil Quality” for graduate students.  Research interests focus on biogeochemistry of nutrients and contaminants in plant-soil-water ecosystems, including: 1) development of best management practices to enhance fertilizer use efficiency and minimize impacts of agricultural practices on the environment; 2) remediation of contaminated soils and water; 3) development of novel technology for sustainable agriculture and food security.
