Job title: Auburn-TERI University NSF Assistantship Auburn University and TERI University through an NSF project are offering a PhD research assistantship to a student specializing in environmental or public economics,  or a closely related social science or interdisciplinary field that combines economic and social analyses of water or wastewater issues in India. The student should have a strong record of undergraduate studies and some experience at the graduate level, preferably holding a MA or MS degree in economics, environmental science or sociology. The student should have skills in qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis and be interested in strengthening those skills through field research. Considerable field research is involved with this assistantship. Funding will include tuition fees at Auburn University and living stipend for two years of PhD program work. Fluency in Hindi and English and strong GRE scores are required.
