Why not add, for the GANGES RIVER SYSTEM, the objectives of Maintenance of Bio-diversity, Ecological balance, Undiluted quality of water through out the year, use as WATERWAYS, Modernised conveniences and public utilities including arrangements for peak loads (Kumbh) so that Ganges remains pavitra...through out.. It need not be only clean water and non-stop flows of Ganges as narrow focus but for the entire River System including its Flood plains and that of the tributaries...
