CENTRE Govt. should enact strong legislation to bring all River Systems and Surface resources such as Lakes, Glaciers under its Control and responsibility and its action program may be starting with Ganges but other rivers are equally holy/ polluted by lack of enforcement of laws by states... Centre Govt. should invest time in perfecting a PPP model involving Indian and MN Corporate to develop and implement long term plan...Knee jerk reactions or playing for vote banks before elections shall not sustain the River Systems.
