What I have understood about the Ganges...... It is one of few rivers in the world that is termed as #LiveWater! The beauty of the water is that it won't foul even years of storing in copper containers! I guess this is all lost after the #TheriDam was built & the imbalance of the 2 primary rivers Bhagyarathy & Alaknanda has drastically changed the quality of water at source near Rishikesh.
