It's a shame that in so many developing countries such as India we treat rivers that provide so beneficial uses for us humans from drinking, agriculture, commercial and industrial uses is being so wasted and treated literally like a sewer dump. I wish you the best of luck with your cleanup efforts. Just curious to know because here in the States in California we get a lit of State funding and support for river restoration and cleanup efforts whether it's for the Sacramento River or the San Diego River that are considered impaired for high levels of sediment, bacteria and heavy metals from construction, commercial and industrial sites, so how much does the Indian government agencies invest in improving river water quality and environmental/public health with these restoration efforts? After all funding and community engagement of this important work is absolutely key to success and I know this from personal experience having worked on lower San Diego River restoration efforts for three years that was quite successful.
